The Quegal team are crowdfunding a full website and app service that will enable users to source instant, affordable and easy to understand answers to everyday legal questions in multiple languages, key areas of law and jurisdictions.

The UK legal services market is now valued at over £30 billion and is increasing by more than 8% per year. A recent IRN consumer survey uncovered that ‘40% of respondents would be attracted by the convenience and low cost of online legal services’.
With online transactions predicted to rise by 16.2% year-on-year, UK consumers made 21.2 online purchases each, at an average unit price of £55.76.
86% of the UK adult population regularly use the internet. Within this figure, 22 million people have an average of 3.5 legal needs over a 3-year period (commonly over consumer goods or services). We believe there is a compelling consumer need for more affordable, pay-as-you-go legal support and advice.
Our test marketing in the UK generated over 125,000 website visits per day, which exceeds those of top international law firms and equals Facebook on first VC funding.
The company also has a projected EBITDA of £2.2m in three years' time, whereupon we will channel profits into a gradual European rollout.
Quegal has interest from many leading corporations and charities, both in the UK and abroad, including Paramount Pictures (Viacom) and the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux.
